First days

Gerald finally arrived on February 24 after an hour and a half delay in Toronto to de-ice the plane because of a major storm.  He had to fly Halifax-Toronto-Las Vegas-Los Angeles and then drove to Santa Barbara.

February 25th we did our 3 mile harbor walk and then he and Norm had a Brophy's lunch with Scott while I had lunch with Karen at the Live Oak Cafe.

Dinner was ribs at home.

February 26 we again did our 3 mile walk but this time we took the trolley up State Street with Craig, Art and Linda.  Gerald and I then did a drive and walk from Ty Warner's along the coast to the Biltmore.  Evening Happy Hour was at Mulligans with the Jones, the Collissons and the Purcells.

We had a nice Skype call with John and Diane before going out.  We'll have to do it more often, it's great!
